I'm Believing In The Blessing Of Ordinary Goodness, well this is a very typical ind of scene that I like to paint, folks just doing ordinary things, but taking a moment to capture how wonderful and beautiful all the ordinary things in our lives are, and this piece was also a part of the show Painting America of October 2008. I love my vegetable stand, and it's an interesting scene I have wanted to paint for a long time and never got around to it, but I did it for this show because I think it is one of the quite essential things we love to do, go out into the country and find fresh and farm produced food. I like the family, I like the colors, I like all the vegetables, and the little boy with his USA shirt, I'm Believing In The Blessings Of Ordinary Goodness, I think it's a very successful and warm painting.
