In This Moment I Rejoice, I really love the pallet of this painting, I love the strength of it, I love the courage of it. Before I was a painter, I looked at art totally different, and after I became a painter I would look at art and I could see for instance how that little dab of orange up in that left hand corner made the painting, and was such a courageous thing to do it. I'm sure we have all experienced that, you go into someone's house and they have some unusual choice that just sings inside of a room, and I think that this painting has a lot of unusual choices, which I love and I think that the choice of colors and the choice of dynamics and design really does wind itself to the name, In This Moment I Rejoice, which everybody knows what that means, but in this moment I am happy, in this moment I am grateful, in this moment I am glad, in this moment I rejoice.
