There Is Comfort In The Cycle Of Tradition, watercolor painting, there is probably not a human being alive who didn't try to have a lemonade stand when they were growing up, or didn't make one for their kids. I don't know what, or how this became such a ritual or childhood, but it truly is, and a warm sunny day in my neighborhood I'm likely to pass one or two children on a corner with lemonade, and little cups trying to, I don't know, just trying to be a part of American life, so I really like this painting, I like the welcome sign to the families home in the back, and everybody working together, and the families out on the street, the little doggy in the wagon, and there certainly is a tremendous comfort in the cycle of tradition, in being apart of what we recognize and what we long for.
