Today we are launching a whole new idea—“Looking Closer”. I am very excited with this new way to show you what I do. Looking Closer is a weekly video cast where I talk about a piece of my artwork. You can also subscribe for free to the Looking Closer Podcast on iTunes. In each video I do my best to give you some insight into what a particular work of art means to me, and why I paint what I paint. They are short little slices of my life and work. I hope you will enjoy them.
Click to watch Episode One, a video look at a whole new medium—torn paper mosaic. Torn paper mosaic is an evolution from collage which I have done a little of here and there. The torn paper pieces have no paint at all—only paper torn from magazine pages. And, they are deconstructed in a way I really find pleasing. Take a closer look and see what you think.
