This is the view from the water of The Island Inn, Monhegan Island, Maine. There is a woman who is rowing a small in the big ocean, a not uncommon site on the island. I find that so beautiful and romantic.

Monhegan is a small privately owned island 13 miles out in the ocean. It is a enclave for artists of all types, really a sort of happenstance art colony, and one of my favorite places.
