Old Baldy sits on Bald Head Island, North Carolina. It is reachable by ferry from Southport, NC. The island is a Maritime Forest Preserve on which cars are not allowed. Sitting at the mouth of the Cape Fear River, Old Baldy is the oldest standing lighthouse in North Carolina.
