A professor of mine at the University of Virginia used to remind us of this fact. And it is true. When children are playing, they are doing business, working out all kinds of ideas, things, ways. I think one things that is often lost in adulthood is the truth that we gain as much in play as in work for it is there that we have time for experiencing and enjoying God, family, self, friends, and our beautiful world.
