Summer Art Camp 2010

Wilmington Art CampNational Artist, Deborah Cavenaugh, Is Offering Eleven One-Week Art Camps June 6 through August 28, 2010 (WilmingtonArtCamp.com) "I want these art camps to not only have the basic goal that each child  creates  beautiful art, something they can  be proud of, but further, to develop their self-confidence and help them find their own, true artistic voice that I believe is inside of every person just waiting to be discovered."     Deborah Cavenaugh

Give your child the opportunity to study with Deborah Cavenaugh in her personal studio.  There are five different themes spread over the eleven week-long camps. The camps are structured so that those who are already comfortable with art,  as well as those who are a bit intimidated, will both have a positive, successful experience.

Art Lessons

Art Lessons/Artist DevelopmentI teach a  limited number of art lessons for children and adults. I strive to develop the potential of each student and find their true artistic path.  While the lessons are highly directed, there is also much freedom.  It is the only way the student can find their true voice.  I start with each student's strengths and interests building from there.  It is somewhat self-directed as I take you where you want to go and focus on what you want to learn and subject matter that interests the student..  Lessons are held in my studio located at 4113E Oleander Avenue inside the Anderson Square Shopping Village.  All supplies are included.   The minimum session is four one-hour lessons.  Continuing students will participate in an art show in my gallery with press announcements and a full opening so that they will have a full artistic experience from creation to reveal.

Pricing Adults: $60/lesson for a minimum of 4 lessons (includes supplies). 18 and under: $50/lesson for a minimum of 4 lessons (includes supplies).

ART SOIREE FOR ADULTS Plan an evening of art with your friends!  Held in my studio, I will provide all of the supplies.  Conversation, good times, wine and art...up to 8 adults can attend.  Pricing depends on the project you want to do.
